Wearing out, but not wearing out

I have been wearing trainers, and minimalist shoes for some years, but I reflected on my ongoing contributions to what seems like the endless heap of waste that my life is generating. Anyhow, I am probably preaching to the choir here, so I became aware of these beauties from The Ethical Consumer magazine. I thought I'd take a chance, and I think that they are grea. However, they are definitely a little heavier than I am used to. I've only had them for a few months so far, and it has been over a mild winter where I live, but they have performed really well. I wear them daily and so far all is going great. I got the dark tops with the white soles, and these work fine for jeans, and shorts, which are only two types of leg covering I wear these days. A solid style and solid construction. Really happy so far. Thank you for giving me the chance to reduce my impact, and for preventing me from being ostracised by those around me, which can occur (at least to me) when attempting to make more ethical choices.

    Lovely idea. room for improvement

Long term Wills customer, and this won't change that. The idea of biodegradable shoes is just brilliant. However, these shoes aren't really designed to last very long (which I guess is half the point, but for the price, you would think they would last a few years) I have had mine since March, and they're already quite worn out.

I give them four stars, cause I'd rather pay for biodegradable shoes that don't last as long, than leather shoes that last for years, but I think there is some room for improvement.

Also mine are grey and they don't seem to exist anymore, so it would have been nice to be able to buy more grey when they are destroyed completely (I use my shoes until the last possible moment)

Good idea, beautiful shoes, with a bit more durability, these would be the best trainers I ever bought.

    Impressive

I really like these shoes. I love the concept and the shoes are just like good normal sneakers. I have very wide feet, the shoes seem a bit thighter than the other Will‘s I have.

    Can't believe they're vegan

I got these ones as a gift from my girlfriend (she's the vegan one) and have been rockin' them non-stop ever since. Nobody can believe me when I tell them they're vegan. They're so comfortable, easy to match and beautiful. Only thing is that they're a bit hard to clean, as the fabric is not so stain-friendly.

    Awesome

I love these sneakers, very stylish and comfortable. I also used them for an all day long city trip and they did it very well. Absolutely recommended.
