Unsere Notizen

Viabram logo falls off and trainers give you blisters

I purchased these trainers on Monday and received them on Thursday I wore them yesterday for 30 minutes and the viabram logos fell off and they gave me horrendous blisters on the ball of my feet.
I have purchased approx 7 various items of footwear from Wills in the past and never had any problems these trainers however are not fit for purpose 😕
I sent a email to wills yesterday and received one back offering me a 10% discount card which I have refused as I am extremely unhappy with the quality of the trainer's.
I have noticed a few people have left comments about the same issues with them. I wished I had read the reviews before I purchased these then maybe I wouldn't have bought them.
Tbh I have never had any problems with all the other boots and walking shoes I have purchased before in fact I usually recommend Wills vegan shoes to all my friends and family.

    Not impressed

Got really bad blisters on both feet from these. You expect it with something like boots but it's the first time I have had this with trainers. Vibram stickers both came off on the first few walks.

Think they could do with some more padding around the heel.

Seems like they are generally low quality.

    Soles too Hard and Uncomfortable

I found the soles too hard and uncomfortable which I only really fully appreciated once I had worn them outdoors. Because I had worn outdoors I felt I could not return them.

I tried to persevere with these cross trainers but I have landed up with plantar fasciitis ( a very painful injury to the tissue that runs underneath from your toes to your heal )

As somebody who used to run a lot, it surprised me that a person can actually run in these shoes let alone walk in them because the soles are soo hard.

To say something positive: The shoes seem to be well made, robust and do keep wetness out if your walking on damp grass. The shoes have a strap to hold the toggle so it does not flap around, a nice feature.

So for me the shoes were an expensive mistake that injured my foot.

    Top Schuhe für weichen Untergrund

Für Läufe in Wald und Wiese perfekt. Für harte Untergründe auf längeren stecken unangenehm, da keine Dämpfung. Also genau wie erwartet. Dazu sehr gut verarbeitet. Super Schuh.

    Great Trainers, great company

This was my second pair of running trainers. The first pair lasted well until the sole became damaged and started letting water in (admittedly this was after a fair amount of wear and tear, but not as much as I would have expected). I contacted WVS and asked if something could be done. They replaced the trainers with a new pair. Amazing!

The trainers themselves are comfortable and to be honest, I use them as my general purpose footwear. They are good for sport, although I do find the method of tying not quite as good as laces. They are robust, look good and responsibly produced. The price is fully justified.
